Vendors You May Have Overlooked

Choosing and hiring vendors for your wedding can be fun and exciting. We all know to hire planners, photographers, entertainment, and a florist but, aside from those, here are several that you might overlook.

Wedding Stylist

A wedding stylist are a new, popular option for brides. They are not to be confused with a wedding planner! While a wedding planner takes care of the more personal details like budget management, gathering vendors for you to choose from, and coordinating RSVP’s, a wedding stylist will help with color schemes, themes and the overall style you want for your wedding. They will make your day eye catching by gathering up all your ideas and fitting them into one unique look customized to your preference. If you plan on having a DIY wedding a stylist may be the only help you need.

Videographer

Although hiring a photographer and videographer may seem redundant, both offer a unique perspective. Videography of the celebration is not usually viewed as a first priority and is normally the first to be removed in order to cut cost. DO NOT DO IT! Not having a video of your wedding might be one of your biggest regrets. Capturing speeches, laughter and pure emotion from your family and friends is truly priceless.

Calligrapher

If looking for a more unique option to printing, hiring a calligrapher is a great option. They can write names and addresses for invitations, make personalized place cards, table number cards, customized menus, programs, and decorate your venue with beautiful hand written signs. A calligrapher will add a personal touch to your wedding at a reasonable cost.

Bartender

Hiring a professional bartender for your cocktail hour and/or reception is a great idea if you decide to have an open bar for your guests. This can cut stress levels down and allow all to enjoy a few drinks while the pro does all the work! Furthermore, they are licensed professionals so there is no need to have friends or relatives licensed for the occasion.

Wedding Car/Driver

Keeping in mind the transportation for the wedding couple, there are car services available if your ceremony and reception are located at two different sites. You can choose a car that will fit the style of your wedding or you can even opt for a horse and carriage!

The options listed above will allow you to customize your wedding according to your preferences, as well as reduce personal stress in your planning. Make the most of the services that are available to you!
